Alexander the Great

Tutored by Aristotle, Alexander became king at 20 and never lost a battle. His campaigns spread Greek culture across the Near East and Central Asia, inaugurating the Hellenistic age. He died in Babylon at 32, possibly from typhoid or poisoning, leaving his empire to be divided among his generals.
