Charles II of Spain
Charles II, the last Habsburg King of Spain, was severely disabled from birth due to royal inbreeding and could not rule effectively. His death without an heir in 1700 triggered the War of the Spanish Succession and the installation of the Bourbon Philip V, ending Habsburg rule in Spain.
