Cornelius Palma Frontonianus

Cornelius Palma Frontonianus was a Roman senator and general who served as governor of Syria under Trajan. He conquered the Nabataean kingdom and organized it as the new Roman province of Arabia Petraea around 106 CE, significantly extending Roman control in the Near East. He was later executed in 118 CE by order of Emperor Hadrian, who had him killed on charges of conspiracy along with several other prominent senators.
