Emperor Aurelian

Roman emperor (270-275 CE) who reunited the fragmented empire after the third-century crisis, defeating Zenobia's Palmyrene Empire and the Gallic Empire within three years. Built the Aurelian Walls around Rome — the first new city walls in five centuries. Assassinated by officers who falsely believed he had marked them for execution. Contemporaries called him 'Restorer of the World' (Restitutor Orbis).
