Gregory Pincus
Gregory Pincus co-developed the first oral contraceptive with John Rock, funded by Margaret Sanger. The FDA approved Enovid in 1960, and within five years 6.5 million American women were using it. Pincus's work is credited with enabling women's workforce participation and unprecedented reproductive autonomy.
