Guglielmo Marconi

Guglielmo Marconi demonstrated wireless telegraphy in Bologna in 1895 and crossed the Atlantic in 1901. He shared the 1909 Nobel Prize in Physics and founded the Marconi Company, which became the foundation of modern radio communication.
