Joseph-Michel Montgolfier

Joseph-Michel Montgolfier co-invented the hot-air balloon with his brother Jacques-Étienne. Together they launched the first crewed balloon flight over Paris on 21 November 1783, achieving humanity's first sustained aerial voyage.
