Louis X of France
Louis X, called 'the Quarrelsome,' had a turbulent short reign dominated by baronial opposition to Philip IV's controversial policies. He notably issued ordinances freeing serfs in the royal domain. He died suddenly at 26, leaving a pregnant wife whose posthumous son John I lived only five days.
