Mago Barca
Mago Barca was the youngest of Hamilcar Barca's sons and served as one of Hannibal's most trusted subordinates during the Second Punic War. He participated in major victories including the Trebia, Lake Trasimene, and Cannae, and was sent to Carthage to announce the victory at Cannae and request reinforcements. He subsequently commanded operations in Spain alongside his brother Hasdrubal. In 205 BCE he opened a new front by landing in Liguria in northern Italy, where he campaigned for several years. Wounded in battle in 203 BCE, he died of his injuries while sailing back to Carthage.
