Otto Hahn

Otto Hahn, with Lise Meitner and Fritz Strassmann, demonstrated uranium fission in Berlin in December 1938, unlocking both nuclear power and atomic weapons. He received the 1944 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery of nuclear fission.
