Plato

Plato was an Athenian philosopher and student of Socrates who founded the Academy in Athens and is considered one of the most influential thinkers in Western philosophy. His dialogues explored ethics, politics, metaphysics, and epistemology, introducing ideas such as the Theory of Forms and the ideal state described in the Republic. His work profoundly shaped Western philosophy, theology, and political thought for over two millennia.
