Vice Admiral Cuthbert Collingwood
Cuthbert Collingwood commanded the second column of the British fleet at Trafalgar, leading his ships into action ahead of Nelson's own column, and assumed overall command of the fleet after Nelson was mortally wounded. He spent the following years commanding the Mediterranean Fleet, dying at sea in 1810 still on active duty.
