Colony of North Borneo

The Colony of North Borneo was a British Crown Colony on the northern coast of Borneo in Southeast Asia. Previously administered by a chartered company, it was taken over directly by the Crown after the Second World War. It joined the federation of Malaysia in 1963 as the constituent state of Sabah.
