Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a state in Central America, between Nicaragua and Panama with coastlines on both the Caribbean and the Pacific, and its capital at San Jose. Independent from Spain in the early 19th century, it became known for political stability and the abolition of its standing army, building a reputation for democracy and environmental conservation.
