Marinid Sultanate

A Zenata Berber dynasty ruling Morocco from Fez, which intervened repeatedly in Iberia in support of Granada and held the Strait crossings until the Portuguese capture of Ceuta in 1415 opened Africa's Atlantic coast to European expansion.
