Mongolia

Mongolia is a vast, sparsely populated landlocked state in East Asia, bordered by Russia and China, with its capital at Ulaanbaatar. Homeland of the steppe empires that under Genghis Khan built the largest contiguous land empire in history, it later fell under Chinese and then strong Soviet influence as a socialist state before transitioning to a multiparty democracy.
