Tonga

Tonga is a Polynesian archipelago in the South Pacific, with its capital at Nuku'alofa. Unified under a single dynasty in the 19th century, it is distinctive as the only Pacific island nation never formally colonised, having retained its monarchy through a period as a British-protected state. It remains a constitutional monarchy.
