Vandal Kingdom

A Germanic kingdom established in North Africa after the Vandals crossed from Iberia in 429 CE under King Genseric. They sacked Rome in 455 CE and controlled a Mediterranean naval empire from Carthage until Justinian's general Belisarius reconquered the kingdom for Byzantium in 534 CE.
