Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe is a landlocked state in Southern Africa between the Zambezi and Limpopo rivers. Formerly the British colony of Southern Rhodesia, it declared independence under white-minority rule before achieving internationally recognised majority-rule independence in 1980. The ruins of Great Zimbabwe gave the country its name. Its capital is Harare.
