Ahuitzotl
Ahuitzotl expanded the Triple Alliance empire more than any previous ruler, conquering territories from the Gulf Coast to the Pacific and into Guatemala. A military genius and ruthless administrator, he completed and consecrated the great Templo Mayor. He died in 1502, possibly from a head injury during a flood.
