Henry VI
Pious and gentle king who came to the throne as an infant and presided over the loss of England's French territories and the outbreak of the Wars of the Roses. His bouts of mental illness rendered him incapable of ruling, leading to his deposition by Yorkist Edward IV. He was briefly restored in 1470–71 before being murdered in the Tower of London.
