John Hume

Northern Irish nationalist politician and co-founder of the Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP). Key architect of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Good Friday Agreement (1998). Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with David Trimble in 1998.
