Pope Julius II

Pope Julius II, the Warrior Pope, personally led papal armies and commissioned Michelangelo to paint the Sistine Chapel ceiling and Raphael to decorate the Vatican stanze. In colonial affairs he confirmed and modified the Inter caetera division between Spain and Portugal.
