Paris Terrorist Attacks

On the night of November 13, 2015, ISIS operatives carried out coordinated attacks across Paris: suicide bombings near the Stade de France, shootings at cafés and restaurants, and a massacre at the Bataclan concert hall. 130 people were killed and 413 injured — the deadliest attack on French soil since World War II. France declared a state of emergency that lasted two years, intensified airstrikes against ISIS in Syria, and deported dozens of suspected extremists. The attacks deepened divisions over immigration and Islam in Europe.
